Itinerary

Day 1Night 01: Hanoi - Ha Giang City

20:00: Our driver picks you up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter.

21:00: Depart for Ha Giang. You will travel in comfort on a high-quality sleeper bus.

Day 2Ha Giang City - Quan Ba - Dong VanBreakfast · Lunch · Dinner

03:30: Arrive at Ha Giang Hostel. We provide a complimentary room for you to freshen up and rest for a few hours, ensuring you are energized for the adventure ahead.

06:30: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the local restaurant.

07h30: Tour guide pick you up. Right after that is a sightseeing trip to Ha Giang Loop:

Km0 square. This is the Ha Giang center and the starting point of the route of the road named Happiness from the city to the Meo Vac town with a length of 175 km.

Bac Sum Pass - the first slope welcome to the "Dong Van Karst Plateau GeoPark''. This point we just drive though.

Heaven's Gate Quan Ba - Here you can stop and take pictures of the beautiful the Twin mountains at the top of the slope.

Can Ty Pass - with altitude of 1000- 1200 meters above sea level. You can admire the beautiful and majestic scenery.

12h00: Have lunch with local food at Yen Minh small town. After continue the trip.

Tham Ma pass - we can stop at the top of slope and enjoy the beautiful slope. Before that you have to go through 9 interesting passages.

Visit at Sung La valley and Lung Cam Village - This is a small village with classic houses with stone fences of the Hmong people. Typically you can visit the house named after Pao's house.

Visit Hmong king's palace - in the past this was the residence of the most powerful of the Hmong people and was considered their palace at that time, in a unique Chinese style.

Lung Cu flag Tower and Lo Lo Chai village

16h30: Arrive and check in hotel at Dong Van town.

19h30: Have dinner at old Quarter. After you can walk around.

Day 3Dong Van - Lung Cu - Nho Que River - Du Gia/Meo VacBreakfast · Lunch · Dinner

07h00: Have breakfast. After we are check out hotel and then go to Lung Cu.

(On Sunday mornings, you can attend the local market of ethnic people at Dong Van town)

8:00: Embark on the scenic "Happiness Road". Afterward, head to Meo Vac Town:

12:30: Lunch at Mau Due small town.

14h30: We visit Nho Que river by boat.

OPT 1: Then the Meo Vac town. Arrive and check in homestay at Meo Vac.

OPT 2: Arrive in Du Gia Village and check in at a cozy homestay. Swimming at Du Gia Waterfall

19h00: Have dinner at homestay and relax here.

Day 4Return to Ha Giang City - HanoiBreakfast · Lunch

07h00: Have breakfast and check out homestay come back to Ha Giang city. On the way back you can visit:

Meo Vac town - Meo Vac is a highland district adjacent to China border. The district has a sparse population and is dominated by the Hmong people, accounting for about 70% of the population. Hmong people have the custom of living on high and dangerous mountain ranges (on Sunday mornings, they gather to trade and meet at Meo Vac town market)

Lung Tam village. This is the handicraft village of the Hmong people located in the middle of Lung Tam valley.

15:30: Arrive at Rocks Ha Giang Hostel to relax and enjoy a Tea Break with a welcome drink and fruit. And waiting for the bus pick up come back Ha Noi:

+ OPT 1: 16h00 - Limousine bus - 22h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.

+ OPT 2: 18h00 - Sleeping bus - 01h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.

+ OPT 3: 21h00 - VIP Sleeping bus - 01h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.

  • If cancelled up to 15 days before the tour starting date, free of charge.
  • If cancelled 15 days or less before the tour starting date, 30% of the total amount is charged (deposit).
  • If cancelled 7 days or less before the tour starting date, 55% of the total amount is charged (30% deposit + 25% late cancellation fees).
  • If cancelled 2 days or less before the tour starting date, 100% of the total amount is charged.
  • From 1-4 years old: Free of charge, sharing the service with parents (Surcharged 15 usd/seat if request a private seat for child from 1-4 years old)
  • From 5-8 years old: 75% of charge (Appy for 1 child, the second child will be charged 100% of adults)
  • From 9 years old and up : 100% of adults
  • Self-drivers must possess an International Driving Permit (1968 Convention) with a valid A1 motorcycle endorsement.
  • While the journey involves significant time on the road, it is designed for a moderate fitness level. Frequent stops for meals and sightseeing are integrated into the schedule to ensure you remain comfortable throughout the trip
  • Roads are generally well-maintained. While April and May are typically dry, mountain routes can occasionally become slippery after rain, so we always advise driving with caution.
